Razzle wants to thank everyone who participated in our recent SAVE OUT SOULS fund raising event. Some wonderful items were donated as prize packages for the event and three lucky winners were the recipients !!
$140 - HURRAH !!
This money will be used to help pay the veterinary bills for one of our lucky rescued dogs to make them ready for a loving forever home.
Please remember that we need much more to continue our efforts to rescue more suffering dogs waiting for the their chance. Many backyard breeder 'culls' and miller auctions will occur this fall and we anticipate more dogs than ever due to our current economic times! More dogs than ever are being 'dumped' in worse condition than we've ever seen. Now, more than ever, we need to raise funds to save more dogs! Always be on the look out for new members and new foster homes and find ways to volunteer your talents, time and treasures! Remember to donate whenever possible and work to educate the public about our rescue activities and success stories. Together, we can improve the life and health of these abused animals and help them find their loving forever homes and families!
Highlights from the Fund Raising Event
Razzle was so excited to PAWticipate in this month's fundraising event. She loves to work with her rescued brother and sister to help achieve our worthy goals. Here is what she had to say about it .....
"I love fundraising events, especially the day that I get to select the lucky winners!! I was looking forward to it all month long! Mommy had three special buckets this month with tickets in every bucket! Mommy and I went out on the porch with the three buckets and I started bouncing and dancing with anticipation! Mommy shook the first bucket to mix up all the tickets and then tipped the contents out on the floor. I dove in for a winner. They all smelled so good!! When I lifted my head, one ticket was stuck to my wet nose!! That sure made my Mom laugh. She picked me up and took the ticket. We had our first winner! We repeated the process with the second bucket and this time I quickly grabbed a ticket and made Mom chase me to get it! I ran around that sun room at least four times and when Mom said the magic word ("Cookie") I dropped the ticket for my own prize! We had our second winner! The third bucket was even more fun. As the tickets rained down upon the carpet, I grabbed one right out of the air and ran off with the winner before it even hit the ground! It was a lot of fun AND we got our WINNERS and I got three cookies for my efforts! Another good day's work!! I sure hope next month's event is this exciting!"
